The #1 seed Salisbury Falcons managed by Brad Vangelli will take on the Alpha Braves managed by Zach Vegh in a three game series for the Premier Division Championship this coming weekend. 

Championship Game 1 is Saturday, Sept 19 at John Dolak field at 3:30 PM in Alpha, NJ. Games 2 & 3 are Sunday, Sept 20 starting at 1 PM at Salisbury High School in Salisbury, PA.  It's a best of 3 series with the winner earning the coveted Crystal Trophy.

Salisbury might be the favorite given the 1-2 punch of their starting pitchers: Justin Augnst who was a standout at St. Joseph's University and Gabe Mosser who played at Shippensburg University and is now a Professional Pitcher drafted by the San Diego Padres in 2018. Salisbury is also 15-1 beating the Alpha Braves twice during the regular season 10-1 and 5-1.

But as Lee Corso often says "not so fast" on Salisbury. Alpha is not afraid, nor are they intimidated. The Braves started the season 1-3 losing to both the Falcons #1 seed and the Cardinals #3 seed early in the season. Since that point the Braves have won 12 straight games. They also have solid pitching that any team in the league would love to have on the roster. Colton Langworthy who played for Northampton Community College was the league's 2019 Cy Young Award winner in the Premier Division. He is complimented by Zack Karasek former Elizabethtown College Pitcher. 

The Braves are seasoned and won the 2018 Premier Championship. They are hungry and made there 2020 season a "revenge tour" after losing in the playoffs in 2019 to the eventual League Champion Bethlehem A's. Salisbury is new, Alpha is not. This should be a great series.
